Boaters or fishermen out on Chesapeake Bay at sunset Tuesday night, June 27, could catch a glimpse of a green beam of light flashing across the water as the Navy tests a long-range laser. Scientists with the Naval Research Laboratory will test a laser by shooting it across Chesapeake Bay the night of June 27.
