The accident happened shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday on Fort Smallwood Road near Devere Drive in Pasadena for a single-vehicle crash. Investigators say Sullivan's Ford Focus was northbound on Fort Smallwood Road at a high rate of speed. As the car rounded a curve on approach to Devere Drive, Sullivan reportedly lost control of the vehicle.

Police say the car left the road, struck a group of trees and rolled over. Watson was in the front seat passenger when he was thrown from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries. The driver and two other passengers were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
