The van stopped at the mailbox. A man emerged to retrieve his mail when he noticed a wild turkey strutting toward him. The tom with all his feathers fanned was massive and on a mission. He pulled his phone from his pocket to capture his picture. Snap. The turkey lowered his head, the man scooted into his van, and the turkey charged. Opening his window, he leaned out to snap another picture. The turkey, evidently irritated at having his picture taken, attacked the van by pecking at the door. Slowly, the man put the van in drive and as he looked in his rear mirror, the turkey gave chase. Squawking, he ran down the road after the van.
