Orioles: Contracts Up For Buck Showalter, Dan Duquette
Baltimore Orioles field manager Buck Showalter is departing from the team, and the organization also ended its contract with another leader.

BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore Orioles will be getting a new field manager and executive vice president of baseball operations. The team made the announcement official Wednesday night, after Major League Baseball insider Ken Rosenthal broke the story that Buck Showalter would no longer be in his position.
In addition to Showalter, the Orioles announced that Dan Duquette, executive vice president of baseball operations, would not be returning in 2019.
Both Showalter and Duquette have contracts that expire at the end of October, the Orioles reported.

The Baltimore Orioles made franchise history by losing 115 games this season and had record low attendance, according to The Baltimore Sun.
The Orioles have announced that Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations Dan Duquette and field manager Buck Showalter will not return to the organization in 2019. Duquette and Showalter are currently completing contracts that conclude at the end of the month.
