Father Of Baby Charged With Murder: Baltimore Police
Police said the father of the 5-month-old baby who died last week has been arrested and charged with child abuse, murder and other offenses.
BALTIMORE, MD — The father of a baby who died last week has been charged in her death, the Baltimore Police Department reported Thursday. Brailynn Ford was pronounced deceased on Sunday, Oct. 7.
Anthony Ford, 21, has been arrested, police said on Thursday, Oct. 11.

Detectives from the western district said they were called to an area hospital to investigate a report of an injured infant at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4.

The baby had signs of trauma to her body, and doctors were caring for her at the hospital, according to police.
Brailynn Ford succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased on Sunday, Oct. 7, according to police. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide.
