Rowhouse Fire Near Butchers Hill: 2 Hospitalized, Officials Say
A two-alarm fire near Patterson Park injured two people and damaged multiple homes, officials reported.

BALTIMORE, MD — Two people were rescued from a fire in the Butchers Hill area Monday night, according to the Baltimore Fire Department. Both were hospitalized in serious condition, officials said.
The two-alarm fire in the unit block of North Rose Street broke out before 11 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23. Crews found fire showing from the back of a residence, which officials said then spread to three adjacent homes.
The Baltimore Mayor's Office of Emergency Management issued an alert around 10:55 p.m. stating that traffic may be snarled because of fire activity in the unit block of North Milton Avenue. There may be delays on East Baltimore Street and East Fairmount Avenue between Port Street and Rose Street, officials advised.

The fire was reported around 10:30 p.m., according to WBAL, which reported those rescued were in cardiac arrest and given CPR.
Officials said both victims were taken in serious condition to an area hospital.

Crews had doused the blaze by midnight, WJZ reported.
