Train Hits, Kills Pedestrian In Baltimore: Report
MARC service on the Penn line was affected Friday morning, according to the Maryland Transit Administration.

BALTIMORE, MD โ All Penn line trains were suspended until further notice after a pedestrian was hit, the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) reported at 8:15 a.m. on Friday.
The pedestrian was trespassing, transit officials said.
According to Fox 45, the pedestrian died after being struck at about 7:30 am. in southwest Baltimore, and trains were running a maximum of a half hour behind schedule after 9 a.m.

The incident comes exactly one week after an Elkridge man died when he was hit by a MARC train in Howard County.
Metro was honoring MARC tickets given the suspension of train service on Friday, the MTA advised.
