“This is a celebration of two things we hold dear: the Ravens Foundation’s incredible support and our work bridging the gap between Friday lunch and Monday breakfast for Baltimore schoolchildren” said Cindy Saval, event chairperson of End Zone Eats: Weekend Backpacks’ Tailgate. “It’s also an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy the football spirit, and support our work to make sure Baltimore kids are nourished every weekend.”

“At the Ravens, we strive to find various opportunities to support our beloved community that shows up each week to cheer us on,” said Heather Darney, vice president of community relations for the Baltimore Ravens and executive director of Ravens Foundation, Inc.. “With charitable partnerships that we cultivate through our foundation, we can support the work of nonprofits making incredible impact across Baltimore. Weekend Backpacks is one of those partners that continues to show up each week for students who need some extra love. We are grateful to be a small part of their giving back legacy.”

Proceeds from the “End Zone Eats: Weekend Backpacks' Tailgate Honoring the Ravens Foundation and 30 Years of the Baltimore Ravens” will help Weekend Backpacks continue providing bags of food to Baltimore students and their families, because hunger doesn’t take the weekend off.
