After Rescue at Bynum Run Pond, Dog Passes Away: Officials
The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company used ladder truck to get to pup in pond.
Despite a dramatic rescue attempt by the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, a dog who had fallen in the water at Bynum Run Pond Tuesday did not survive, officials said Tuesday evening.
At approximately 4 p.m., the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company had extended a ladder across the pond in the 700 block of Churchville Road, according to Rich Gardiner of the fire company.
Some firefighters traveled in the bucket at the end of the ladder tower to get to the dog, the fire company reported.
