Anonymous Donor Increases Reward For Information Leading To Suspect In Rachel Morin Case
The reward for information that leads to the suspect in the Rachel Morin murder case has increased to $30K courtesy of an anonymous donor.

BEL AIR, MD — An anonymous woman from Bel Air has donated an additional $10,000 to the reward being offered for information leading to the capture and conviction of 37-year-old Rachel Morin of Bel Air.
The law firm representing the Morin family, Rice, Murtha, Psoras, disclosed Monday that the total has now reached $30,000. The firm doubled the original reward of $10,000 originally offered by the Harford County Sheriff's Office and Metro Crime Stoppers. Anyone who wants to contribute to the reward can do so here.
"We are profoundly moved by the remarkable generosity of this anonymous donor from Bel Air, Maryland. Their unwavering commitment to seeking justice for Rachel Morin is an inspiration to us all. With this substantial contribution, our combined efforts have now increased the reward to $30,000, which hopefully will encourage individuals with information to come forward," said Randolph Rice, a partner at Rice, Murtha, Psoras.

"However, our work is far from complete. We call upon businesses and individuals to rally behind Rachel's family as we continue to seek facts about the killer. We implore anyone with knowledge, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, to step forward and provide information on the identity of the man in the video. Together, we can bring closure to this devastating case and ensure that Rachel's memory lives on," Rice added.
Almost two months have passed without a suspect in custody for the slaying of Morin, a 37-year-old Bel Air mother of five, who was found dead near a stretch of the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air. According to investigators, the suspect is a Hispanic man in his early to mid-20s and estimated to be 5’9" and weighing around 160 pounds.

Morin's sister Rebekah Morin told WMAR the family will not stop until the suspect is caught.
"If you have any type of inkling of who this might be, please call or send an email to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. I don't care if they send me a message on Facebook, if they don't want to deal with police. Any tip I will forward it myself if I have to. The main thing is finding this guy and getting him off the street before somebody else's family is destroyed," Rebekah Morin said.
"My concern is that this killer is escalating. My investigators and I both firmly believe that if we do not apprehend this individual, he will again, if he has not done so already. And, if given the chance, he certainly could become a serial killer," Gahler said. "Until he is in custody, this suspect poses a threat to every community in our country and maybe outside," he said.
Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler has publicly stated that he believes the suspect could be a serial killer.

The sheriff encourages people to continue sharing the video of the suspect and continue sending legitimate tips to rmtips@harfordsheriff.org.
