Aberdeen Proving Ground firefighters took a fire hose inside and put out the blaze, which was in a bedroom, officials said. Joppa-Magnolia assisted with water supply.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal ruled the fire accidental, due to the electrical failure of an extension cord that was connected to an air conditioner that was operating at the time.
