Edgewood Joppatowne Parade 2018: Route, Time

JOPPATOWNE, MD — The Edgewood Joppatowne Parade is this weekend. Sunday's event marks the 11th annual affair, since the festive Fourth of July parade began in 2008.

This year's theme is "Mariners on Parade."

The parade starts at 6 p.m. on Shore Drive, turns right onto Joppa Farm Road and ends at Joppatowne High School, 555 Joppa Farm Road.

Marchers from Edgewood and Joppatowne will be among those in the parade, along with antique cars, floats and others, according to organizers.

The Edgewood/Joppatowne Independence Day Committee Inc. puts together the event. Last year's parade was in Edgewood.
