Mini Golf In Bel Air Raises Funds For Fallen Firefighter
Bel Air and Fallston fire companies sponsored a fund-raising event in Bel Air Sunday to benefit the family of Lt. Nathan Flynn.
BEL AIR, MD — Over the weekend Jurassic Golf & Arcade in Bel Air hosted a fund-raiser to benefit the family of Lt. Nathan Flynn. Flynn, 34, died while battling a seven-alarm fire Howard County on July 23.
The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company and Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company sponsored the event, and 100 percent of proceeds will go to the Flynn family.
Flynn, a 13-year veteran of the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services, was the first career firefighter to die in the line of duty in the history of the department. In addition, he volunteered with the Susquehanna Hose Company and Harford County Technical Rescue Team.

He is survived by his wife and five children in Havre de Grace.
Tickets to the fund-raiser to benefit the family were $20 for adults and $10 for children. They covered three hours of unlimited glow-in-the-dark miniature golf; light fare; soda, water and juice; and raffles. A DJ, door prizes, fill a boot and a silent auction rounded out the entertainment.

Groups were invited to sponsor a hole for $100. The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company did, and here is what it looked like:

The fund-raising event for Lt. Nathan Flynn's family was from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19, at Jurassic Golf & Arcade, 331 Baltimore Pike, Suite 8, Bel Air, MD 21014.
There is also a donation page set up for the family through GoFundMe.
