Snowfall Totals In Bel Air From December 16
Here's how much snow fell in Bel Air Monday, based on preliminary data from the National Weather Service.
BEL AIR, MD — More than an inch of snow fell in some parts of Harford County Monday, according to preliminary data submitted to the National Weather Service.
The most snow in the state fell in Frederick County, which saw 2.3 inches of accumulation, the data show.
Public schools were closed in nine counties Monday due to the wintry weather. In addition to those in Harford County, schools were closed in Allegany County, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Frederick County, Garrett County, Howard County and Montgomery County.

Here's how much snow was reported in Harford County, based on preliminary data submitted to the National Weather Service:
- 1.2 inches in Bel Air, reported by a trained spotter at 6:45 a.m.
- 1.1 inches in Forest Hill, reported by a trained spotter at 8:30 a.m.

One Bel Air resident said her area barely saw any accumulation.
"Nothing worth showing in my neighborhood...a tiny bit in the yard, nothing on the street," she wrote on the Bel Air Patch Facebook page.
Roads appeared clear, based on pictures shared by Bel Air Patch readers.
