Teen Charged in Perryman Arson, Fire Marshal Says
A 14-year-old boy is facing multiple charges.

A juvenile has been charged with arson and other offenses in connection with a fire in Perryman that occurred earlier this month.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal said that investigators received a number of tips and eventually determined that a 14-year-old boy set fire to the trailer in the 1600 block of Perryman Road on March 18. Officials said that a motive had not been determined.
The blaze caused $5,000 in damage to the trailer, which was transitioning into becoming a full-time residence, the fire marshal reported.

Officials said the teen was charged with first-degree arson, first-degree malicious burning and malicious destruction of property greater than $500.
He was released to the custody of his parents pending further action by the Department of Juvenile Services, the fire marshal reported.
