Arson Under Investigation in Perryman
Fire marshal seeks info about mobile home fire, black Chevy Cobalt.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a suspected arson that occurred Wednesday at a vacant mobile home in Perryman.
A passerby in the 1600 block of Perryman Road reported the fire at 5:04 p.m., according to the fire marshal.

Approximately 30 firefighters from Aberdeen, Abingdon and Aberdeen Proving Ground brought the blaze under control within 15 minutes, the fire marshal reported.
Investigators said the fire started in the living room of the home and had been set on purpose.

Nobody was injured in the fire, which caused $2,000 in structural damage, the fire marshal reported.
A black Chevy Cobalt that “appeared suspicious” was seen in the area before the fire, according to officials, who are asking anyone with information to contact the Office of the State Fire Marshal at 410-836-4844.
