BREAKING: Montgomery County Police say a Wheaton man is the second victim killed at Westfield Wheaton mall; a Silver Spring man also died.

(Updated at 1:30 p.m. Thursday) WHEATON, MD — A Wheaton man has been identified by authorities as the second victim fatally stabbed by a Montgomery Village teenager following a fight at Westfield Wheaton Mall. The victim whose name was just released is Kevin Siloe Moya Cruz, 22, of Wheaton, according to Montgomery County Police.

A teenager from Montgomery Village has been arrested in the death of two men following Tuesday's fight and stabbings of two men at Westfield Wheaton mall. Montgomery County Police said Wednesday night that they have arrested Angelo Lamont Jackson, 17, of Hawk Run Terrace in Montgomery Village, and charged him as an adult with two counts of first-degree murder.

Police say Angel Alfredo Gomez-Pineda, 24, of Silver Spring, died Tuesday from stab wounds. Both victims died within an hour of being taken to area hospitals on Tuesday.

Emergency dispatchers received a call reporting an assault and possible stabbings at 3:17 p.m. at the mall, 11160 Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton. Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services personnel found two male victims on the lower level of the mall suffering from stab wounds. Authorities haven't disclosed how many times the victims were stabbed, a possible weapon or where the victims were wounded.

Investigators believe that Jackson and a small group of subjects, including the two victims, fought in the lower level of the mall near the Hollister store a short time before the stabbings occurred.

Mall video surveillance reportedly shows a black male, armed with a knife, stabbing one victim and then, while still armed, pursuing the second victim, police say. Detectives shared a still photograph of the suspect to county police officers, who were able to identify the suspect as Jackson from previous encounters with him.
The video also showed Jackson and the two victims fighting in the lower level of the mall shortly before the stabbings occurred. The fight was broken up by mall patrons.

Jackson was arrested Wednesday afternoon as he left his Montgomery Village residence. He was taken to the Central Processing Unit and is being held without bond.

Investigators continue to try to confirm a motive for the stabbings.
