Did You See This Car Crash On Tuesday Afternoon?

Dear Neighbors, Tuesday at about 3:20 p.m. my WJ junior, driving a silver Honda Fit, was stopped at the traffic light at Democracy and Old Georgetown, the one that leads into Balducci's. Just as the light changed, a large van (similar in size and color to a UPS truck) rear-ended my daughter--four times--as she was crossing into the Balducci's parking lot. She is very shaken up and has been checked out at the ER. She is lucky to be okay. The police are calling this a "Hit and Run," and I would appreciate it if one person who witnessed the accident (teenager walking home, adult in a nearby car) would call the Montgomery County Police You can contact police officer Michael.Schmidt@montgomerycountymd.gov.The back of her car is totally crashed and the bumper is hanging off.
