Best Brunch Restaurant in U.S. Calls Chevy Chase Home
OpenTable.com has included Clyde's of Chevy Chase as one of the country's top 100 brunch restaurants.

You're in luck – a Chevy Chase eatery has been named one of the best 100 spots in the country for brunch by OpenTable.com.
Clyde’s of Chevy Chase, which is located at 5441 Wisconsin Ave. in one of the area’s most stylish neighborhoods, is a restaurant serving American cuisine that opened in 1995. With a dining room modeled after the transcontinental train, the Orient Express and a Race Bar the eatery bills itself as a re-creation of transcontinental travel right on Wisconsin Avenue.

“Designed to be approachable to an all-ages audience of after-work Happy Hour patrons, families and retired sophisticates, Clyde’s of Chevy Chase is a favorite among visitors to the Chevy Chase Collection of boutiques and enthusiasts of American travel,” the restaurant website says.
Clyde’s of Chevy Chase was one of nine restaurants in Maryland recognized for their brunches by OpenTable.com. Other nearby selections are Founding Farmers in Potomac and Tower Oaks Lodge in Rockville.

OpenTable.com's 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America list is based on more than 5 million diner reviews on the site at more than 20,000 restaurants nationwide.
Considering a whopping 21 states didn't have any restaurants on the list, that's pretty impressive. D.C., Maryland and Virginia dominated the list, with a combined total of 17 of the 100 restaurants.
Offerings at Clyde’s include a children’s menu, live music on Saturday nights and bar specials on weeknights. Sunday brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes $4 mimosas and Bloody Marys.
