Chevy Chase Man Wanted In Death Of MD Parole Agent: Police
Montgomery County police are searching for Emanuel Sewell after a man was found dead in a Chevy Chase apartment Friday.

CHEVY CHASE, MD — Authorities are searching for a Chevy Chase man wanted in connection with the death of a Maryland parole and probation agent.
Montgomery County police have identified 54-year-old Emanuel Edward Sewell, a registered sex offender, as a suspect in the parole agent's death. He is facing a charge of second-degree murder.
According to police, officers were called to an apartment in the 2800 block of Terrace Drive shortly before 6 p.m. Friday to do a welfare check on the agent, who had not reported back to work after meeting with Sewell.

Upon entering the apartment, police found the agent, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sewell was not in the apartment and has not been found, police said.

Authorities did not release the agent's name pending notification of family.
Police said Sewell should be considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached if spotted. Authorities believe he may be driving a gray 2017 Hyundai Elantra with Maryland license plates 93661HT.
