Crime Museum Celebrates Halloween With Sixth Annual Haunted House

Fright At The Museum - Dead Man Walking

Washington, D.C. — October 21, 2014 — This Halloween season, Crime Museum challenges guests to a night of terrifying fun at the museum’s highly anticipated haunted house, Fright At the Museum – Dead Men Walking. Located at 575 7th Street, NW in downtown Washington, D.C., Crime Museum will unveil its haunted house to the public on Thursday, October 23rd at 7pm and offer nightly tours beginning at 7pm on October 24th- October 25th, and October 27th – November 1st. Those brave enough to attend will be led through a dim-lit maze of empty jail cells, electric chairs, dark alleyways, and gruesome crime scenes. Along the way, guests will encounter evil clowns, spiders, zombies, and ghosts lurking in the shadows, waiting to pounce.

Crime Museum’s Chief Operating Officer, Janine Vaccarello describes the Crime Museum’s commitment to providing guests with an unforgettable, frightening experience: “Fright at the museum is one of the most terrifying, yet fun experiences you can have in the District. Each year, we make slight changes to our haunted house so guests never know exactly what to expect or who will jump out at them and when. Highly recommended for those who like to be scared – and don’t mind screaming!”

Crime Museum offers a separate Halloween event for kids on October 26th from 1-5pm. During this special family event, children receive a private tour of the museum, including the museum’s interactive games and crime solving puzzles; fingerprint Identification cards; and Halloween candy. Children wearing their Halloween costumes, along with their parents, will be able to purchase $10 discounted tickets at the door. Tickets to Fright at the Museum, however, must be purchased in advance.
