Grosvenor Heights Construction and Sales Begins
New Luxury Townhome Community to be Built in Unique Bethesda Woodlands Oasis

Construction is underway at the 33-acre Grosvenor Heights luxury townhome community at Grosvenor Lane and Fleming Avenue in Bethesda. Sales for the newest neighborhood from Bethesda-based EYA and Streetscape open Feb. 21. Ninety-nine, three-level elevator townhomes are available in a rare woodlands setting from EYA. An additional 20 homes are being offered by Michael Harris Homes.
Grosvenor Heights offers homebuyers three models (Marshall, Cameron and Harrison) ranging from 2,523 to 3,433 square feet with three or four bedrooms. Each home will include a private, two-car garage (front or rear-load based on model) and a full-floor rooftop terrace overlooking the wooded canopy with an outdoor kitchen and gas fireplace available. Front and rear balconies allow homeowners to enjoy views of the surrounding woodlands.
The community is within walking distance of Rock Creek Park, Fleming Park and the Bethesda Trolley Trail. Nearby, the Shops at Wildwood offer Balducci’s and neighborhood dining. For commuters, the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Station is a 15-minute walk and the neighborhood is a short drive from two major highways: I-270 (one minute away) and I-495 (two minutes away).

“Grosvenor Heights is a 33-acre property nestled in the heart of Bethesda, but it really feels like you’re in an oasis surrounded by trees,” said EYA President Bob Youngentob. “You just don’t find properties like this that are well located and with tremendous access from both a highway and metro standpoint.”

Inspired by the unique natural setting, the homes will feature contemporary architecture that is rich in the use of organic materials. Exteriors are predominantly natural brick complemented with authentic cedar siding. Large expanses of floor to ceiling glass will allow natural light to fill the homes’ open floor plans, while metal awnings and canopies will provide solar shading and cover from the elements in balcony and terrace areas.
Each residence features chef kitchens with Thermador cooking; Sub-Zero refrigeration; full overlay, frameless designer cabinetry; water-saving Kohler fixtures; decorative steel stair rails and linear gas fireplaces.
All homes will be built to environmentally friendly LEED for Homes certification.
