Heyday, a New York-based facial salon, is coming to Bethesda Row next year.

BETHESDA, MD — A New York-based facial bar is coming to Bethesda next year.
Heyday — the company going head-to-head with traditional spas — has inked a deal with Bethesda Row's developer, Federal Realty Investment Trust. The one-stop skincare salon will be located at 4922 Elm St.
"We're thrilled to welcome Heyday to Bethesda Row," said Stuart Biel, senior vice president of Federal Realty Investment Trust. "The Heyday commitment to quality of experience is a standout that customers are going to love and want to share with their friends."

The design of the space will include 11 semi-private treatment rooms, an area to freshen up, and a skincare routine shopping experience at the front.
Bethesda Row is the company's first D.C. area location. Heyday plans to open another location in D.C. proper next year. The exact location and date for the grand opening have not been announced.

Founded in 2015 by two University of Pennsylvania grads, Heyday has already expanded to include 11 brick-and-mortar stores in New York City, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. The goal: take the confusion and exclusivity out of facials.
"We saw a huge demand for Heyday's accessible and routine facials outside of Los Angeles and New York's metro area and naturally, we were drawn to our neighbors in Washington D.C.," said Adam Ross, co-founder and CEO of Heyday. "We are excited to join the fabric of this thriving health and wellness community and look forward to executing on our high-quality in-shop experience and unparalleled service standards that change the lives of our clients with both short- and long-term benefits."
The skincare salon offers 30-minute ($65), 50-minute ($95), and 75-minute ($140) facials with enhancements such as microdermabrasion, peels, and LED light therapy.
"Unlike most other facial providers, there is no overwhelming menu and all services are fully personalized, based on what expert Skin Therapist determines clients need," Heyday said in a statement.
The shop carries high-end and cult-favorite skincare brands, including Naturopathica, Supergoop!, and Herbivore Botanicals.
