MAY 16: PHILLIPS Hosts The Triple Crown Gala
PHILLIPS Programs for Children and Families is hosting its 20th annual gala on May 16 from 6-11pm at the McLean Hilton.
PHILLIPS Programs for Children and Families, a local nonprofit helping youth with a variety of challenges and qualities succeed, is hosting its 20th annual gala on May 16 from 6-11pm at the McLean Hilton. This year’s theme is: The Triple Crown: A Hats and Horses Affair, featuring guests dressed in big hats, bow ties, seersuckers and spring dresses. During the gala, PHILLIPS will be presenting its first Community Engagement Award to EY for its years of advocacy on behalf of the youth PHILLIPS serves.
PHILLIPS is a unique nonprofit that works throughout the region to ensure that struggling youth and their families benefit from education, family support services, community education and advocacy. For 45 years, PHILLIPS has helped youth succeed by providing customized support and education through three programs, including: Special Education Day Schools in Annandale, VA and Laurel, MD; PHILLIPS Family Partners offering home- and community-based counseling and support; and PHILLIPS Building Futures, an onsite youth training program in Fairfax and Loudoun counties.
