New Surveillance Footage Released of Missing Mother

A Montgomery County woman with schizophrenia and her two children are still missing. Police are "deeply concerned."

Montgomery County Police are pursuing criminal charges against Catherine Hoggle, a paranoid schizophrenic, who has been missing, along with her two young children.

Hoggle, 27, of the 12200 block of Elm Forest Court in Clarksburg, and her children, Jacob Hoggle, 2, and Sarah Hoggle, 3, have been missing since at least Monday, according to a previous Patch story.

It’s possible friends are watching the children and don’t realize their father, Troy Turner, and police are looking for them, Montgomery County Police said.

Turner, who works night shifts, has not seen Sarah or Jacob since Sunday. Catherine Hoggle had been driving her father’s gray 2012 Nissan Rogue SUV on Sunday, Patch reports. She said she was picking up pizza for Jacob Sunday afternoon, but returned without the boy three hours later. She allegedly told her parents that her son was at a friend’s house, and went home with Sarah.

On Monday morning, around 5:50 a.m., Catherine Hoggle reportedly told Turner she was dropping Sarah off at an unknown daycare. She would not give him information on the children’s whereabouts.

On their way to the police station, Catherine Hoggle and Turner stopped at a Chick-fil-A in Germantown. Catherine left the restaurant without Turner realizing it. AK9 bloodhound tracked Catherine to the Germantown Transit Center, but she has not been seen since.

Police have released surveillance footage of Hoggle at the restaurant.

“I am deeply concerned for the welfare of these two little children and their mother,” Montgomery Assistant Police Chief Russ Hamill said during a news conference held Tuesday, reports The Washington Post.

Anyone who has seen Catherine Hoggle or her two children is asked to call 9-1-1.
