Railing Gives Way at Georgetown Prep Football Game
The railing in front of the student section collapsed Friday night, causing some injuries as fans fell, officials said.

Minor injuries were reported after a bleacher railing gave way Friday night during a football game at Georgetown Prep in North Bethesda, according to a Montgomery County fire and rescue official.
On his Twitter account, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said several people were injured in falls. He said all injuries were minor.

Washington Post sports reporter Brandon Parker, who was at the game, said on Twitter that after Georgetown Prep scored at the end of the first quarter “pandemonium ensued.” The railing on the student section bleachers broke.
The Hoyas were playing the Bullis Bulldogs. The Bulldogs won the game, 19-16.
