Retired Bethesda Music Teacher Indicted On Child Porn Charges
Charles Victor Kopfstein-Penk, a retired music teacher who gave lesson out of his Bethesda home, was indicted on child pornography charges.

BETHESDA, MD — A former music teacher who gave lesson out of his Bethesda home was indicted Thursday on federal child pornography charges.
If convicted, 74-year-old Charles Victor Kopfstein-Penk faces up to 20 years in prison for possessing child pornography, said officials with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Maryland.
Kopfstein-Penk was arrested in May after state police said they searched his home and found child pornography files on multiple electronic devices. The retired music teacher had images "depicting the sexual abuse of children, including images of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor," according to the indictment.
