The World Press Photo Exhibition Has Arrived In The DMV
Event Being Held at DuPont Underground Through November 26
For more than 60 years the World Press Photo Exhibition has been honoring the best in photojournalism, with the winning images viewed by millions. Last year alone, 4 million people visited the exhibition in 100 cities around the globe.
Don’t miss the chance to see what this amazing event is all about now through November 26 at the Dupont Underground, the area’s hottest spot for art. This is an unrivaled opportunity to view iconic photos that spotlight current events.
“There’s no better setting for these diverse photographs, which mirror pivotal global events that are discussed and decided here in the DMV,” says Robert Meins, Executive Director of the Lightscape Foundation—the organization dedicated to bringing the exhibition to the Underground. “The winning photographs are compelling, as are the back stories, which encourage visitors to learn more about these significant events.”
