14 More Coronavirus Deaths In PG County; 3,875 Confirmed Cases
Prince George's County is breaking down the latest numbers of positive coronavirus cases in the county by ZIP code.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Maryland Department of Health confirmed Wednesday 141 new cases of the new coronavirus in Prince George's County. That brings the overall total to 3,875 confirmed positive cases. Fourteen more people died due to the new coronavirus, bringing the overall total of deaths in the county attributed to the disease to 125.
Prince George's County still has the highest number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus of any county in the state, according to the latest data from the Maryland Department of Health. Second on the list is Montgomery County, with a total of 2,868 positive infections.
On Tuesday, Congressman Anthony G. Brown (MD-04) and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (MD-05) requested Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan dedicate additional resources for testing, hospital surge capacity, data collection, and public health education in Prince George's County.

Maryland has 14,775 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, state health officials reported Wednesday morning, an increase of 582 since Tuesday.
Authorities reported 631 deaths in Maryland have been attributed to the virus, and 67 others also probably died from COVID-19, but lab results are pending, as of Wednesday morning. The number of deaths is up 47 from the day before.
