389 New Coronavirus Cases In PG County: Latest Numbers
Prince George's County is breaking down the latest numbers of positive coronavirus cases in the county by ZIP code.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — On Tuesday morning, the Maryland Department of Health confirmed 389 new cases of the new coronavirus in Prince George's County. That brings the overall total to 3,734 confirmed positive cases. Thirteen more people died due to the new coronavirus, bringing the overall total of PG County deaths attributed to the disease to 111.
PG County still has the highest number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in the state, according to the latest data from the Maryland Department of Health. Second on the list is Montgomery County, with a total of 2,768 positive infections.
Maryland has 14,193 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, state health officials reported Tuesday morning, an increase of 509 since Monday.

Authorities reported 584 deaths in Maryland have been attributed to the virus, and 68 others also probably died from COVID-19, but lab results are pending, as of Tuesday morning. The number of deaths is up 68 from Monday, when it had increased by 30 from the day before.
The PG County Health Department is offering free COVID-19 tests by appointment only. County Executive Angela Alsobrooks shared how residents can obtain an appointment in a post on her Twitter account:

The Maryland Department of Health is releasing information about the new coronavirus by ZIP Code and the PG Heath Department began reporting that information on its website.
According to Kata Hall, spokeswoman for the governor, the 20783 ZIP code (Hyattsville), which has 258 positive cases, is the ZIP Code with the second highest number cases in the state, behind only the 21215 ZIP Code (Baltimore/Baltimore City), which has 273.
