2 Killed After Car Runs Red Light, T-Bones Another Car in Forestville: Police
The driver of the car that police say ran the red light was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
FORESTVILLE, MD — Two people are dead and another is in critical condition after a car ran a red light and struck another vehicle in an intersection in Forestville early Sunday morning, according to police.
Police responded to the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Parkland Drive at around 1:15 a.m. on Sept. 4 after two cars collided, says a statement from the Prince George's County Police Department.
Police pronounced dead at the scene 27-year-old Howard Jackson and 50-year-old Pandora Bracmort, both of Forestville, who were the occupants of the car that was struck while turning from Parkland Drive onto Pennsylvania Avenue. Jackson was the driver and Bracmort the passenger.

"Preliminarily, it appears the car traveling eastbound on Pennsylvania Avenue failed to stop at a red traffic light and struck the car in which Jackson was driving," the statement notes.
Police say the driver of the car that ran the red light was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
