2 Suspects Charged In Suitland Fatal Shooting: Prince George's Police

Two suspects have been charged in connection to the March fatal shooting of Donnell Tyler of District Heights, police say.

SUITLAND, MD — Two suspects have been charged in connection to a fatal shooting that happened March 21 in the 4600 block of Silver Hill Road. The suspects and victim knew each other, police said.

Prince George's Police found 31-year-old Donnell Tyler of District Heights in a parking lot with a gunshot wound around 7:30 p.m. March 21. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The investigation showed Tyler was shot during an argument with 44-year-old Wardell Holland III of Suitland and 41-year-old Shaquita Stewart of Suitland. The suspects took off after the shooting but were found two days later, according to the police department.

Holland has been charged with second-degree murder. Stewart has been charged with first- and second-degree murder as well as accessory after the fact.
