Have You Seen Landover Man Sought in Homicide?
Prince George's County Police are searching for John Scriver for the October shooting of a Capitol Heights man.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Landover man police in connection with last month’s murder of a Capitol Heights man.
Prince George’s County Police is searching for John Alfred Scriver, 24, of the 1800 block of Belle Haven Drive in Landover. He’s charged with first- and second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Cofield Richardson Jr., 48, of Elkwood Lane in Capitol Heights.
Officers were called to the 1400 block of Elkwood Lane on Oct. 7, where they found Richardson outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives believe the homicide stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Scriver and Richardson.
