Moped Driver Killed While Crossing Indian Head Highway: Prince George's Police
A 52-year-old Accokeek man was fatally hit by a vehicle while crossing Indian Head Highway on a moped, Prince George's Police say.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal collision involving a moped driver that happened Monday in Accokeek, police say.
On April 8 around 9:15 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the area of Indian Head Highway and Manning Road West. They found 52-year-old Jamie Richardson of Accokeek dead on the scene, police reported.
A preliminary investigation indicates that Richardson was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross Indian Head Highway. The involved driver remained on the scene and was not injured.
