Prince George's County Schools Makes Weather Decision for Saturday, Jan. 7

BOWIE, MD — Prince George's County Public Schools has announced a change in the schedule for Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017.

The region will be under a winter weather advisory overnight, from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, affecting the roads in some areas.

School officials said on Friday afternoon: "All Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) evening activities for Friday, January 6, will continue as scheduled. All activities and field trips for Saturday, January 7 are cancelled due to the impending inclement weather."
