Teen Suspect Charged in Clinton Triple Shooting: Police

The 16-year-old suspect is being charged as an adult. Police say he shot two boys and then himself.

An argument among Prince George’s County teenagers led to all three suffering gunshot wounds, and one of the teens facing charges for allegedly shooting two victims inside his Clinton home.

Suspect Delano Dunmore, 16, of the 7900 block of Clendinnen Drive has been charged as an adult in the case, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department. He faces two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder and assault charges.

Police were called to Dunmore’s home about 3:50 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, patrol officers found three teenage boys suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the victims was critically hurt, police say, while a second victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. The victims are 16 and 17 years old.

Investigators believe Dunmore shot the two teens and then shot himself. His injuries are not life threatening, police say.

Police belive an argument between the teens escalated into the shootings. Dunmore is in custody at a hospital and is being held on a no-bond status.
