Traffic Alert: Lanes Closed Overnight on Capital Beltway in PG County
The lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. on weekends, state highway officials say.

Beginning at 9 p.m. Friday -- weather permitting -- lanes of Interstate 95/495 will close in Prince George’s County for resurfacing.
The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration will begin the work on the Outer Loop of I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) from Glenarden Parkway to US 50 (John Hanson Highway).

SHA will close two lanes on the Outer Loop nightly at 9 p.m. and three lanes at midnight.
On weekends, all traffic lanes will reopen at 7 a.m. On weekdays, all travel lanes will open by 5 a.m. Crews will not work during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
