Enjoy a free evening of movie watching from your own home Thursday at 9 p.m. The 2021 BCPS Film Expo will show a juried selection of student films on BCPS-TV (Comcast Xfinity channel 73 and Verizon FiOS channel 34) and via livestream. During the event, category winners will be announced and winning films will be shown along with commentary from expo judges. (Patch)

4. BetMGM partnered with the Baltimore Ravens last week to bring sports betting to Maryland football fans. With this multi-year partnership, BetMGM became the Ravens' first Official Gaming Partner. Marylanders legalized sports gaming with a referendum last November. Officials hope to have the system up and running by September when the NFL season starts. (Patch)
5. Baltimore County parks will remain open Monday, May 31, while other services will not be available in observance of Memorial Day. Courts and county offices will be closed, and people do not need to pay parking meters. Post offices will be closed as will libraries, the landfill and recycling drop-off centers. Trash and recycling will not be collected Memorial Day. Patch has compiled a list of what will be open and closed Monday. (Patch)
