  1. A Halethorpe man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Catonsville Friday, Baltimore County Police said. Cody Daniel Darby, 27, was driving a Honda motorcycle on the narrow right shoulder of eastbound Baltimore National Pike when he tried to pass a Toyota RAV4 at a high rate of speed just after 9 p.m. (CBS Baltimore)
  2. The NAACP and ACLU have raised concerns over proposed Baltimore County redistricting map, which includes Catonsville. Baltimore County's Redistricting Commission approved Thursday a proposed map that would create one majority-minority council district as well as keep in place another district that is predominantly Black. Some say that doesn't go far enough to make sure enough minority candidates get elected to the council. (WYPR)
