2. The county will receive $2.25 million in grants from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development to expand access to rural broadband in Baltimore County. The county and Comcast are expected to extend broadband access to nearly 900 residences across northwest Baltimore County. (Patch)

3. Two Catonsville schools have been honored for their participation in the inaugural "Green 60: Our Planet, Our Home" interschool challenge coordinated by the Baltimore County Student Councils Environmental Committee. (Patch)

4. Baltimore County public schools will offer all students the option to attend classes in-person four days a week starting May 24. Masks are also no longer required outdoors and unmasked individuals asked to maintain 3 feet of social distance as much as possible.
