- Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski and Health Officer Dr. Gregory Wm. Branch announced on Tuesday that the county will be be hosting the annual Super Weekend Flu Clinics. Flu vaccines will be offered for free on Oct. 16 And 17 at seven locations throughout the county. - Baltimore County officials are hoping to make the county's Trap-Neuter-Return pilot program official. The Joy Freedman Care for Cats Act would codify Baltimore County's existing Trap-Neuter-Return program to humanely and effectively maintain the free-roaming cat populations. TNR helps reduce the population of free-roaming cats in communities, protects human health by vaccinating the cats against rabies and is supported by leading animal advocacy organizations, including the ASPCA and the Humane Society.
