2 Columbians Charged in Campaign Sign Destruction: Police
A pair of Columbia residents was charged in connection with vandalizing Trump signs.

COLUMBIA, MD - The owner of a sign promoting Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump took cell phone photos that led to charges against two Columbia residents, the Howard County Police Department reported.
The sign in the 5400 block of Ruth Keeton Way was damaged at approximately noon on Sunday, Oct. 30, police said.
The sign owner confronted the suspects, argued with them and took their pictures, according to police.

As a result, two people were charged: a 17-year-old Columbia boy was charged with destruction of property, while a 20-year-old man from Grand Banks Road was charged with second-degree assault, destruction of property, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace, according to police.
