Columbia Crossing Shoplifter, Late-Night Burglary Attempt: Columbia Crime
Also, police said one man was arrested twice in five days for indecent exposure in Howard County.

The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.
A door handle and lock were damaged in the 6000 block of Majors Lane. Nothing seemed to be missing, and it was unclear if the suspect(s) got inside the residence. The attempted burglary occurred sometime between 1 and 6:07 p.m. on May 5.
Bicycles were stolen from an open garage in the 5600 block of High Tor Hill. The theft occurred between 6 and 7 p.m. on May 4.

Residents in the 5000 block of Green Mountain Circle heard a knock at the door and saw a man outside the window. The man did not get inside in the attempted burglary, which was reported at 2:15 a.m. on May 4.
Two purses were stolen from TJ Maxx in the 6200 block of Columbia Crossing. An employee saw a woman trying to leave the store without paying for merchandise and when she tried to stop her, the woman fled. The theft occurred at 3:48 p.m. on May 1.

A 2008 black Honda CBR 600 motorcycle was stolen from the 8900 block of Early April Way. The theft occurred sometime between May 1 and 9:19 a.m. on May 2.
Indecent Exposure Incident
A 59-year-old man was charged with indecent exposure twice this week, according to police.
At 10:12 a.m. on May 5, police responded to the 7400 block of Washington Boulevard in Elkridge, where a man was exposing himself near the road.
Officials arrested Randy Cruey, and he was charged with two counts of indecent exposure.
Police had also arrested Cruey several days before in Ellicott City.
At 10:48 a.m. on May 1, a witness reported a man exposing himself in the common area of a residential building, according to police. A second report came in about the same person, who was now exposing himself near the road.
Cruey was taken into custody in the 8000 block of Main Street and charged with two counts of indecent exposure.
He remained in police custody May 6.
