Expect Delays Around Downtown Columbia for Twenty-One Pilots Show: Police

Police said that roads around Merriweather in downtown Columbia and US 29 may get jammed Friday afternoon.

Columbia, MD — Police advise drivers to avoid US 29 and downtown Columbia Friday afternoon, due to anticipated traffic around Merriweather Post Pavilion.

Pop duo Twenty-One Pilots will perform at the Columbia concert venue Friday night. 

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show is set to start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

According to Merriweather, the concert is sold out.

Delays are expected to build on Route 29 and roads around downtown Columbia after 3 p.m., according to the Howard County Police Department. Drivers should use alternate routes.
