Glenwood Man Charged in Child Pornography Case

GLENWOOD, MD – A Howard County man was charged with distribution of child pornography, Maryland State Police reported Tuesday.

Robert Perry, 24, was arrested Monday after state troopers, Homeland Security agents, Howard County police and Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Unit investigators served a warrant at his residence in the 14000 block of Castlebar Drive, officials said.

They seized multiple digital media storage devices, which are now undergoing forensic analysis, according to Maryland State Police.

Investigators identified Perry as a suspect while looking into a possible case of distribution of child pornography over the internet earlier this year, police reported.

Perry has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography, according to police.
