Man Shot In Columbia, Search For Suspect Underway: Police
The Howard County Police Department asks anyone with information about the shooting to contact authorities.

COLUMBIA, MD — A 21-year-old man was shot and injured in Columbia Saturday afternoon, according to police. He is battling serious injuries at the hospital, and authorities say they are still searching Saturday evening for a suspect in the neighborhood where the shooting occurred.
Officers were called to the 12000 block of Little Patuxent Parkway for a reported shooting at 1:28 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.
They found the 21-year-old seriously injured from a gunshot wound, and he was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment.

UPDATE: Jessup Man Killed In Columbia Shooting
Investigators determined the man had been shot outside the 12000 block of Green Meadow Drive, where police said officers were continuing to canvass the neighborhood, in a statement before 7 p.m.
