Vans Warped Tour to Rock Columbia on Saturday, July 16

Columbia, MD — Merriweather Post Pavilion is hosting the Vans Warped Tour this weekend.

Saturday's music festival in Columbia is one of more than 40 stops on the tour, sandwiched between Friday's show in Burgettstown, Pa., and Sunday's in Holmdel, N.J.

In recent years, the show has attracted 18,000 fans to Columbia for the daylong event featuring electronic, punk, ska, emo, alternative, hip-hop and other types of musicians.

The lineup is established the morning of the show and will be posted inside the venue on inflatable boards.

Tickets are $41.50 to $50. A parent accompanying a minor gets in free.

Doors to the Vans Warped Tour open at 11 a.m., and the show will end by 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, at Merriweather Post Pavilion, 10475 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia.
