The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the area; here's how much snow to expect.

Gas up the car, fill up the fridge and prepare to shovel again: The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for parts of Maryland, including Anne Arundel County, beginning Wednesday at 7 p.m. and lasting until Thursday at 7 p.m.

The new storm system is expected to deliver 5 inches of snow to the area and is moving in from the Southwest, from the Tennessee Valley to the Mid-Atlantic and then pushing up to just south of New England.
