The Baltimore Chapter of the American Rosie the Riveter Association is meeting on Saturday, April 13 at 10:30am at the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum. Women who worked during World War II doing a man's job,their families, friends and interested historians are invited to attend to share 1940's experiences and memories. This chapter of the national Rosie group, the American Rosie the Riveter Association, participates in school and museum programs, parades and assists students with oral history projects.These ladies were pioneers of the 1940's and brought social change to the workplace. The Museum, located at Martin State Airport, 701 Wilson Point Rd in Middle River has a special exhibit titled "They Answered the Call" honoring the Rosies and the workers at the Glenn L. Martin Company who kept the homefront moving during World War II.
