Double Homicide Investigation Underway in Rosedale: Police

Two people were fatally injured, Baltimore County police said.

Two people were killed Monday morning in Rosedale in what the Baltimore County Police Department says is being investigated as a targeted act of violence.

At 1:44 a.m. on Monday, first responders were called to a home in the 9800 block of Whitney Drive for a reported stabbing, according to police.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.

A woman who was found seriously injured was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview for medical treatment, police said. She died at the hospital, according to police.

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is investigating the crime as targeted, the report said.

Police said it did not appear to be a domestic incident. The bodies are being evaluated by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
